The Battle of Wolves
One evening as a Cherokee and his grandson sat admiring the night sky, the old indian began to tell his grandson about a battle. A battle that goes on inside of everyone. He said, "My son, This great battle is between two wolves that lives within us all.

One wolf is Evil. He is full of anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other wolf is Good. He is full of joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about this new concept for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
After several minutes slowly passed, the old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed, my son.”
