Frequently Asked When Selling Your Watch to Us
How do I get a price quote?
Tell us about your watch using our online form. Take a few pictures and upload them. Give us your contact information and that’s it! We research the market to price your watch and then get back to you with an estimate. We usually have your estimate in one day or less. Here’s the form.
How and when do I get paid?
After you tell us about your watch, we’ll give you an estimate of what we will pay. After you approve our offer, we send you a prepaid and insured shipping label. You pack and ship the watch. When we receive it, we verify the watch is what we expected from the form data and pictures and we send your money to PayPal.
We send your funds using the email you entered when you told us about the watch. If you don’t already have a PayPal account, it’s easy to set one up.
If we find issues that affect the value of the watch, we will come back for your approval. If we both agree about the new amount, we send the money to PayPal. If not, we return your watch.
Are my items insured when I mail them?
Yes, we insure shipments for the value of the watch. And we deal with any issues caused by lost or damaged shipments, so you don’t have to.
What brands do you buy?
We are interested more in quality and condition than brand names. We are looking for quality Men’s automatic and manual wind wristwatches. Manufactured from 2000 through current models, without any major damage, are running and keeping time.
We do not purchase watches located outside the US. Or sold by fashion and mall brands like Michael Kors, Guess, Hugo Boss or manufactured in China. We also do not purchase lower priced quartz (battery powered) watches like Fossil, Invicta, or Timex.
If you are unsure about what we will purchase, send us an email about your watch before you complete the form.
Do I need the original box and papers to sell my watch?
No, we purchase watches without boxes and other accessories. However, it’s to your benefit to find them if you think you may still have them.
Having the original box, warranty papers or card, booklets, hangtags, and all original bracelet links can add a premium of 5% to 25% to the sale price of a watch compared to selling the watch only.
